It's over two weeks since I posted anything. Been busy with work and such (strenghened by lack of ideas...). I was discussing anthro art with a few freinds over at a forum lately, and we concluded that there is far too much yiff, and too little focus on the most the important part... love and romance... I was inspired to do this. Another one done on my sucky screen... I have no idea if the colours and the shading did come out to bright or too dark... I'll cheack it out tomorow or something.

My characters Tayari "Tasha" Morowskij and her lover, Sam Keysan, being romantic at the beach... off duty for once...

I would like to thank ~akala for writing the incredible 'realistic-furr' tutorial. Open this up in fullview and look at especially Sams furr... it's amazing how much you can improve with advice from others! I'm so happy about the furr in this one! A big *hug* to Akala! Time taken: Dunnos... like... 4-5 hours?
Tools used: PSP X and a tablet.

I really love the emotion conveyed in this, the colours and poses of the characters add to this atmosphere of calm. sorrow and love. It takes a fair bit for an artwork to emotionally effect me but this one did, so often people try to pull off something like this and it just really doesn't work out for them but yours really does in my opinion. It's expressing something that I feel yiff cheapens.
The fur looks very nice, great work!

Aww, thanks Shtag, that realy goes deep! I'm trying to improve at all times, and I tried a new shading technique here too, along with the realstic furr thing.

Wow, that was a very nice and coherent comment. Thanks so much! I'm glad I conveyed just the right feelings, the right athmosphere. It feels so good when you are told such a thing, when you have spent 4 or 5 hours trying to achive that goal constantly during the time. I'm really glad I managed to touch you, emotionally, becouse that is what I want to do with my art... affect and inspire, cheer and bring understanding. Thanks again!

About romance and yiff... I don't got anything against yiff really, I'm openminded and such, but it do think it (as you say) cheapens the most important part about love. It's so mainstream to just aim for the sex in our modern society... what happend to the romance part? The kissing and the smoothering? Yiff cheapens that area, by just focusing on an act which in itself can be nothing more than just... sex...
